ABOUT

About Me

Hello my name is Ronie-Rey Nixon, currently residing in Bolton.

As a programmer I live and breathe games (mostly in my spare spare spare times) and I have that x-factor passion for games. How it works internally sometimes interests me. I often ask questions many games I’ve played on how that particular part of the game in handled in code.

It’s not just all about playing games, many of my time (spare) I’m working with XNA revamping my top scroller to C#.

I’ve huge interest in artificial intelligence, in particular learning agents, which I had my final project based on.

I’ve been doing indie development for many years. Most of my games based on role-playing genres. My interests also reaches as far as modding for various tools, including Unreal and the Valve’s editors.

Been programing simple applications with Nintendo DS homebrew and I’m currently testing a basic prototype of my top scroller Air Roar on the DS.

My past interests (and still is) were creating websites more specifically, dynamic sites based on PHP, and MySQL database management.

I have various music tastes and love to produce my own music using many to the free tools made available.

I like drawing various figures and objects and I’m a moderate artist, where I usually make the contents for my games.

Particular game interests at the moment is largely RPG games. One the recent RPG that has come out is Lost Odessy which I praise for on how well the game was delivered. Although I’m never stuck with one genre. I equal have interests in all genres of games.

Current

I’m currently going through my last years of University after all that 4 years worth of work, and I’m currently looking programming roles in the games industry.

Undergoing work on a 3D RPG Game prototype which can be found here: AGT Game Engine and a final level AI project. (site for the project is under construction)
